While rereading entries, it occurred to me that my writing style tends to be terribly repetitive. Specifically: overuse of “which,” accidental parallelism, etc. This is particularly disasterous now because I think I might possibly consider doing Nanowrimo, maybe. It’s not a very good idea, yet an oddly enticing one.
Everything is good. I have finally learned how to set aside social obligations for work (sort of) and as a result feel all alone. I can’t win!
Parallelism is part of your facon d’écrire, so to speak. It’s a hallmark of the American minimalist prose writers of the late 20th century as well. You’re accidentally just fitting in to your time period’s respective literary tropes. Although, I’ve yet to see a full story you’ve written, let alone a novel. Go for it, though. You might become disillusioned and drop your avaricious, overly-practical career aspirations. ; D
you are doing nanowrimo.
what’s all this “maybe” nonsense?
gag!
i forgot not to read arman’s comments.
Arvind is right, Nanowrimo is an excellent idea, I did it a while back and it made me 500 dollars in a competition simply because i had enough words to enter the short story category that most people are intimidated by and wont submit to. ; D
-BG not so rich but still has 500 dollars
mike and i hit up the studio today and wrote “The Man Song”
we sing like women, though, it’s so excellent, ask if you want sillyness.
Gag?
I love you too, Lea.
Hahahahahahahahahahaha! The first comment is the best thing I have ever read.
This truculence beckons further pretensions, you lily-pated, macrocephalic, earth-vexing hellkites; let it not precipitate them further. Your criticisms are dually commensurate with your foibles.
no more contentiousness
