My school allocated four hours for the TAKS test today, and I spent an hour and half on it. When I got home, I allocated half an hour to making some piddly graphic for J-lism (Fannio’s word) and spent three hours on it, shoving pixels around. Perfectionism is a disease.
The extra TAKS time I spent well — reading Vonnegut and sleeping. Cat’s Cradle is incredible. I am terrible at responding to media (see all other entries that mention a book or a movie — either I’m speechless with amazement or disinterested). Still, this book! Oh, man! (See.)
So I still haven’t written my essay as to how we can use technology to protect the environment, it’s due in two days, and I’m expecting to make $2K off it. Should get to that.
dude…TAKS FREAKING PWNS, i love how i had to have c lunch. it made my cry. but i gotta admit, the stories i got to read definatly made up for it. “The Friendship” was about some weird cop who befriended a little kid and then basically became dissapointed (from what i picked up it was because the little guy expected him to arrest anyone that was mean). And then whoa…”Magic Pablo” i gotta admit thats the greatest story i ever read…its about a peace corps volunteer who plays games like “let’s imagine” with a 16-year-old. dude. the only actual reading i did was get from like page 20 to 70 in the Gulag Archipelago…the author kinda drags stuff on…but i guess its just to show the inherent EVIL of all the DAMNED SOVIETS THATS RIGHT ANUSH….yeah.
TAKS days rock. I didn’t actually have class till 3 o freakin clock! Every day should be a taks day.
Also, gimme that Vonnegut book. I need to finish it. now.
Does it make you laugh. Oh man oh man, it made me laugh, it made me laugh like an elephant dipped in chocoalte.
The book, is rectangle.
YES. GO TAKS. yes, every day should be a TAKS day.

next year, anush, you get to stay away from school for this.
