I must go to Coon-Hardy Debate Institute this summer, or else I will die a horrible gasping talentless death. That is a promising first sentence; I hope I can keep it up. Opera is the other thing right now. It’s a surprisingly effective internet browser, obscenely customizable, and comes in various colors i.e. crimson. (I am trying and failing to write in a more engaging, fluid style.)
Frontage Roads (my school’s literary magazine and my baby) needs a website and a cover, both of which are my responsibility/fault. So I’ll be doing that at some point soon. The staff and I did a ropes course the other day, for team-building purposes (ha!) and also because it was free. I am now convinced that I am a Natural Leader. If I can lead people through a rope spiderweb, I can lead this country into happy open-minded open-mouthed futuristic neon sunshine!

I freaked out on this like 30 foot long tarzan thing twenty feet above the ground…. it was rainy and windy and I was afraid my harness might not hold…. so I didn’t have the nerve to go across that one…. but i did the other high ropes; they were fun.
