I’m trying to develop some kind of discerning music taste with the aid of Pitchfork Media, but I’m finding it hard to like the bands they tell me to. I mean, I recognize that Linkin Park isn’t good music, but gods help me, it’s on my playlist. I suppose I’ll just have to loop And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead until I like them.
Currently in New Jersey, where my grandparents own a huge chunk of land. It’s a pretty cool place to be, despite the ticks. We’ve been trying to convince the grandparents to get a dog, as it’s criminal to waste all this space on a few feral cats.
Pitchfork can be a bit harsh sometimes. Trail of Dead *is*, however, a fantastic band.
Working three jobs just to stay in debt.
Yeah.
Loop weird al why don’t ya?
Then move on to Tenacious D…
You’ll soon find the path to enlightenment.
Or insanity.
Which is basicly the same thing in either mindset.
And insanity is much easier to attain and aquire.
So go for it why don’t you.
At least it’ll be interesting

Bad News.
Maybe.
Haha, I don’t really like ToD as much as I know my friends do. Generally, I like using Pitchfork Reviews as a guideline for considering whether to give an album a second chance. Epinions.com is a nice place to go for multiple views per album, which is something lacking from Pitchfork (though they do a great job most of the time!).
