It’s such a convoluted movie. Usually I resent serious movies for manipulating my emotions, but this one was too complex and too subtle for me to resent it. I’m going to stop talking about it before I become kitschy. I can’t articulate this at all. I don’t usually like movies this much.

All the Juniors watched Minority Report in School today in an assembly because the literature department decided that it was significantly similar to Oedipus of Sophocles to bother. It was fun, though. For the fourth or fifth time. I love that movie.
If subjectivity is subjective, so is objectivity.
Minority Report is pretty, but there are so many plotholes. For example, why don’t they keep the precog system and prevent murders, but not prosecute?
But the conspiracy by Lamar Burgess to kill Agatha’s mother was discovered…. they couldn’t keep the precogs imprisoned once they knew that the system wasn’t entirely infallible.
So how could the precogs leave! People were dying! Selfish precogs!
