I am in Brazil! It’s brilliant. I refuse to change my lifestyle, though, so I’ve been shelling out untoward amounts of money to sit online when I should be sitting in a pool or something. I am a little worried about malaria and/or yellow fever, because I took no precautions and apparently it’s something of a problem, but I have faith in my super-powerful bugspray. Seriously, this bug spray eats people for breakfast.

I went to the coast for two days with my family. It was very un-Texan. There were these neat little clam things… I bought a butane lighter in a gas station on the way. It makes me really happy.

I’m a terrible person to watch movies with. I keep turning around and demanding if the person likes it yet. American Beauty is a good movie.
I haven’t been doing anything at all lately. Apparently I’m going to the beach this Friday-Saturday, and I’m leaving for Brazil the Sunday after next. I’ll have to go to Michigan sometime in between.
